Through networking and partnership TVPDN stimulates and enables the professionalisation of the learning and skills sector.

How is this achieved?

• TVPDN networks at national, regional and local levels, facilitating the flow of information, advice and feedback.
• TVPDN seeks to bring together and influence the supply and demand sides of professionalisation, recruiting learners and encouraging  providers to respond to the needs of learners with innovative provision.
• TVPDN procures training from providers and delivers training which forms part of CPD.
• TVPDN is both a source of funding and it also sources funding for new initiatives.
• TVPDN provides IAG for individuals seeking professionalisation and TNAs for organisations seeking to professionalise their workforce.
• TVPDN provides consultancy to assist providers in both delivering and embedding Skills for Life.
